Estudio Morgan, in collaboration with VONNA, brings to life a dream project of the 20th century
Welcome to a dream kitchen, to a flat full of historical and aesthetic value. In the heart of Madrid, exactly in the Salamanca district, Estudio Morgan and VONNA have given life and colour back to a house from the beginning of the 20th century. What this 1920’s house was at the time has had a strong influence on the result of the project, where the essence of its past has turned the space into an unbeatable combination of old and new.
VONNA’s kitchen, together with the accurate and delicate interior design hand of Estudio Morgan, specifically the architects Marina Reyero and Laura Montero, has become one of the most spectacular spaces in the house. A room that captivates everyone who visits it, connecting different rooms through a museum-worthy route.
The union of noble materials gives magic and essence to the space, such as the natural Montblanc stone by Altissima, from XTONE, and the contemporary design furniture, play a very important role in this corner. The unparalleled beauty of the quartzite selected for the kitchen brings a lot of light into the space and its contrast with the classic gas hobs and the large extractor hood give a unique character to the place. Montblanc surrounds the walls, the worktop and the island, becoming the true protagonist in this kitchen.
The result of this great project shows, in each of its corners, the tact and care with which it has been conceived and executed. A tribute to the rich variety of natural materials that is reflected in the careful photographic work carried out by Belén Imaz and the great talent of the stylist Bea Torelló, which perfectly frame and close the essence of a 20th century flat that has been moulded by the best hands of great professionals.
