A decorative technique using different particles to achieve various volume effects.

The ECLIPSE technique involves the selective creation of pronounced textures by applying grit to an adhesive. This technique allows for the design of pieces with unique, eye-catching textures that enhance the depth and aesthetic appeal of the ceramics.

Application Process:

• Digital design: The design is printed onto the model.
• Application of adhesive: Using digital printing, an adhesive is applied to the designated areas of the design.
• Application of grit: The piece passes through a machine where grit is applied to the adhesive. The grit adheres to the areas with adhesive, whilst the excess is vacuumed away.
• Firing: During firing, the grit fuses with the surface of the ceramic, creating pronounced and durable textures.
