Cobalto. The Lobby is conceived as a sensory space inspired by the intensity of cobalt blue, an ‘almost black’ shade whose essence harks back to the origin of the term ‘kobold’ (goblin). Building on this concept, the project creates an enveloping and almost magical space, where visitors do not merely pass through, but feel welcomed and invited to linger, enjoying the materials, finishes, scent and music. Moving beyond the traditional function of a lobby, the space is transformed into a sanctuary where waiting becomes an emotional experience, characterised by calm, sophistication and tranquillity. A concept that connects with the resurgence of cobalt blue as a trend in 2026: a deep, quiet yet powerful colour, reinterpreted by leading figures such as Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent or Judith van Vliet in her exploration of the language of colour.

In this setting, XTONE materials take centre stage in Sandra Antón’s project, particularly Andes Blue. Its presence on walls, counters and furniture elements, precisely curved even in organic pieces such as the sofa legs, brings continuity, depth and a sophisticated sheen that reinforces the identity of the space.

As a counterpoint, Glem White Nature features on the flooring, combined with Andes Blue in 60 x 60 cm slabs with a polished finish. The 45-degree chequerboard pattern reinterprets classic flooring from a contemporary aesthetic, creating balance and reinforcing the identity of the whole.

The carefully considered lighting enhances the qualities of both materials, accentuating their reflections and textures to create an enveloping atmosphere where luxury is expressed in a subtle, coherent and sensory manner.
