Porcelain is pressed together with decorative flakes to achieve a full-body effect.

The CORE application is based on the heterogeneous mixing of different types of clays during the atomisation process. This technique produces a unique and varied design within the body of the ceramic, creating a rich and complex visual appearance that mimics the natural variations found in rocks – a full-body effect. The mixture may include clays of different colours, resulting in a piece with speckles and tonal variations that give it a distinctive character.

Application Process:

• Preparation of the Mixture: During the atomisation phase, the process begins with a homogeneous base of the desired colour, such as white. Small quantities of clays of different colours, such as black or grey, are then added.

Advantages:

• Natural Aesthetics: The variability in the earth pigment mixture creates an appearance that emulates natural stone, providing an authentic and robust look.
• Design Versatility: When creating furniture where the body of the piece is visible, a more aesthetic and natural finish is achieved.
• Conceals Impacts: Porcelain is a very hard material, but if it does receive a heavy blow or suffers wear and tear, the defect will appear more integrated into the surface, which helps to conceal it.
